Tinted and roof wrapped...

I did the roof, fin, and the strips on either side of the roof too for a complete blackout on the top. 350 for the whole thing (Pittsburgh). I laughed because I think they said it took 6 tries to do the fin, nearly told them to just give it up....

Probably need to smoke out or tint the rear lights for a full black/white look...

Just snapped some quick photos at work of my wrap from about a month ago. Generally very pleased with the result, though the wrap does not fully extend down into the "rails" inside the roof edge, so I'm going to need to do something about that. The shop performing the work did advise me ahead of time that they wouldn't be able to properly get in there, so I wasn't surprised by it.

As for the fin, it was going to be an expensive PITA to get it done properly and I actually prefer the contrasting red fin. As my son told me, "there's a small red shark swimming around up there".

Those roof rails down both sides of the car clip out my got removed them then wrapped them

^^^ Interesting. I wish I knew that a few weeks ago. Thanks for the heads-up, though.

I really like this

The guys that did mine said the same thing but was able to cover everything. Looks good.

Hello pdmit, looks really nice. Can you tell me where you got yours done and how much did it cost? I am in melbourne and hoping to get it done. Thanks
G’day @Ajay, welcome to the forum, are you the Ajay that traded his 8 month old Mustang for your new Stinger...;)

Nice trade @Ajay, plenty of info here for future mods/upgrades, enjoy your new ride.

Getting my roof done in about a week. Not vinyl wrap, but shot with the Halo EFX, which is supposed to last longer than vinyl. Also doing the back two corners to blend with the black spoiler. They’re vinyl wrapped now but not done well by the guy I had attempt the roof. I could’ve done better. He didn’t want to wrap the fin.......too much work for him. So I’m going to his direct competitor to get it done. Lol

Question for those who've had this for a while - how does the exposed cut edge of the vinyl, on that piece on the hatch above the rear window, hold up over time?

Thanks!

I realized I've had decals I cut from non-auto-grade vinyl on cars for years with no issue either, and I'll be doing it myself so no concerns of replacement.

Can you post your experience with HaloEFX? I am keen to hear how you find it.

I didn’t apply it myself but went to a shop that supposedly knew what they were doing. He did the roof and fin but only the fin turned out OK. He had to peel the entire roof and do vinyl instead......without removing the fin. I had to spray glossifier on the fin since it started out shiny then faded to dull. This is only one experience. I’ve seen rims done with this stuff and they look amazing. If you go where someone does it all the time you should be fine.

One of the attendees at our Woodinville Stinger Meet had his roof done in Black PPF , it was awesome , looked exactlywood3.webp like glass

Thanks. I suspect they didn't really know what they were doing as much as they claimed. A bugger for you. :(
No worries. The black vinyl looks great instead. I will have to do something with the roof rails that are also in Halo EFX as they seem to be getting a bit rough already. Got plenty of vinyl to do them myself.
