im new to this gourmet, hey all! Bought the tial bov and flange from Sal, it's a work of art:) installed it, well I've installed it three times already. Problem is it not opening or when does it late and slow. I have verified correct spring, verified banjo valve is aligned, even had a mechanic buddy take it apart and verify my work...all on a very simple part install lol.

Advice? Attaching video: well I would but it won't let me.

I’ll ask the obvious questions. Have your capped the recirculation lines? And did you transfer the rubber seals from the stock diverter valves to the new Tial flange?

Yes, really wish I could post the video, keeps saying wrong format.

Did you happen to try and lube the piston? I know they like to stick sometimes when they’re new. Same thing happened on my drift car.

Where is the link? If it's on Youtube just post your username and we can find it

After talking with Terry he said the operation of the valve looks normal, said I could try bypassing the ECU solenoid. The stock solenoid had a crack in it and Kia put a new one on. I am now thinking this has nothing to do with the BOV and all to do withe the ECU.
Guessing the sound in the video is surge?

Having a similar issue here. No movement at all on my valve. Any ideas/input/help will be much appreciated.

So, I put the tial on for third time and used a small piece of rubber plastic to insert into the vacuum tube at to to make sure the valve was lined up completely and it helped, I will still get sounds where seems like air is being forced out the intake, not the flutter sounds that would indicate pushback into turbos but the sound of air trapped looking for a way out. I have not been able to find a solution.
I am planning on taking to a European/turbo specilist shop just not had time. I will respond when I do. If you find anything let me know. My stock diverter valves are once again back on but just venting to engine bay.

By way I tried another BOB by GFB and exact same. Very frustrating:)

Well damn, thanks for responding though.

I'm gonna look everything over again and triple check but everything seemed alright.

Can you post up a picture of your current setup with the diverter valves VTA?

Bought 7/8 inch chair leg caps from Lowe's. Other than that just remove the tubes. U actually get a blow off sound:) I wanted the tial because I thought with the upgrades eventually the OEM valves would fail.

Yes, driving, post as soon as possible

I had two issues, lining up the vacuum, I used a small metal wire to keep hole aligned while tighten. I also used alcohol swab to wet the connector which helped the tight gotten hose slip on riser.
Second was the valve operating correctly but it seemed delayed and got pushback into intakes. I bypassed selonoid and routed directly to back connection, made huge difference. And yes it 100% fine to unplug the existing hose, leave it and plug directly in.
And yes my engine is really dirty

No issues doing it the way you listed above?

None, Rob32 got that advice from BMS, he's been running that way long time, me for few months. Rob can give you more details but you are simply removing the middle man:) I'll text Rob so he can comment.

Awesome, adding this to my Stinger "to-do list" over the holiday weekend. Thanks!

I actually took apart my Tial BOV last night and I was sent a white spring... I think it’s too heavy (-8psi) for the stinger, so I bought a black spring to install which is -6psi. Annoying but oh well, these things happen when modding a car

Lining up the vacuum was tough but I just marked the direction of the whole on the top of the bolt and tightened it up inline with that
