Hey all,

I was thinking about doing a little modding. I don't want to go crazy extra power or noise, so I was considering the following, but wanted to see what others think.

I was planning on K&N Typhoon intakes.
And because I don't want to get to noisy, I was thinking just a secondary cat delete and putting in Ark Downpipes.

I was thinking a Lozic ECU 1.3Bar tune, I can only get 91 in my area. Also a TCU, but I'm not sure what pressure to have that set at, car still has to be drivable/comfortable for the wife.

With that, I'm not sure how much more power the car would make, but I figured it would be more than enough for me... so I'm not sure if I need to go 1 step colder plugs or two step colder on a setup like this??

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Your car is going to be a lot louder with those exhaust mods. I'm not sure what qualifies as too noisy for you, that's subjective. 1.3bar from lozic and 91 octane is probably 400-420whp. I had a 93 octane 1.4 bar and it dyno'd at 436whp

Does the Ark downpipes delete the primary cats too? I thought they only deleted the secondary cats...

It looks like a good starter set of mods for sure. I think with just the secondaries it won't be too loud at all but sound and sound volume is very subjective. I have a catback, intakes, and downpipes and find it fine for daily driving and the wife finds it more than comfortable to drive in. I would heavily recommend getting an oil catch can (click HERE for more info).

Just the secondaries. If you delete primaries, it will be loud. When I remote start my car from inside the house, I can hear the car inside the house as if we don't have walls. Especially on cold start.
