Got lucky, the negative camber of the rear wheel was just enough that the bottom of the cart hit toward the bottom of the wheel and just kept it off the car, and the rubber protector on the bottom of the cart saved any damage to the wheel....so I guess I’m “lucky” the cart hit the car where it did

Ya thats crazy. Still a pain to deal with it but could easily have been a lot worse.

We do, bu tapparantly even the lazsiest people takes their trolley/wagon/cart back to where it belongs..

My Optima received a dent in the left front bumper due to a lazy a***hole not taking their trolly back to the bay and I had just got in when " bang " saw it hit my car and then the car next to me.It was a windy day too. So now with the Stinger I park away from the shops, walk further, try to park where I'm next to a curb so there can only be one other car next to me.I also avoid all trolleys in nearby vicinity and park up wind.

Umm, that would probably lead into a fight followed by your arrest.I didn't see the person whom dumped the trolley but in my mind " I punched them in the face about ten times " I don't think I could bring myself to purposely damage someone's car because I wouldn't want someone to do that to me.
In all fairness, the person was just lazy not malicious, I would have probably advised them in some stronger words to park their trolley in the bay.
