All chuffed that I received my new sways and springs, talking to a mate making arrangements for the install and this happens!

Oh and while it’s in the paint/repair shop should I get anything custom done?
Was thinking no point them putting the Kia badge back on the front. If the new bumper is predrilled they could fill/paint the holes. I could put a stick on badge later if I changed my mind.
The license plate holder also gets screwed into the bumper, I could use a different mounting option?

HOLY CRAP, Sorry to see the damage to your Stinger from hitting a Kangaroo, am I right to assume, it will be repaired , and look like new again , wouldn't think it would be a write-off. Do you know what speed your were doing when this happened ?

Are kangaroos as stupid as deer here in the south? IE: stand in the shoulder staring at you until you're almost past them, then jump right out in front and get splattered all over your bumper/windshield?

Sorry to see the damage, hopefully it's just superficial and can be easily repaired.

Yeah looks worse than it is. New bumper and hood should sort it. Didn’t touch the headlights or windscreen luckily. The hood did a good job crumpling absorbing most of the impact.
80kph/50mph.

If you manage to spot them prior chewing some grass on the side of the road you’re generally OK. It’s when they’re moving at high speed and pop out of complete darkness into the beam of your lights is the OH F*CK moment! LOL

Oh no! Hopefully that should be a relatively easy repair.

Glad you're okay, scary stuff, did the hood rise up when the Roo hit ? forgotten what it's called but the hood supposed to help stop something coming into the windscreen by lifting up slightly when there is an impact .

Roos sometimes bounce off a car and hop away, but die later from shock.

They can be dangerous if you hit them in the air in the middle of a jump - because they can slide over the bonnet and in through the windscreen - at which point if they start thrashing around, they can do REAL damage.

I believe Mooses (is that the plural term?) can cause similar issues due to the height their legs hold their bodies off the ground, and thus the slide straight into the passenger cell.

Just get front and back badges done. How long to fix you think? I know a good panel beater in Riverton.

glad you didnt get hurt , for Manaz , Moose is both singular and plural , as for the bumper , I like your idea of filling the holes for the Kia badge and plate , a completely debadged front is very sexy ................mod/member Dajackson did his that way

"Moose bites can be veery nasty".

We don't get the option; Moosi and deer only here. :p I've had two close calls with deer in my driving career, one in the Stinger a couple of months ago above Bountiful in deep dusk. Warnings appreciated! Even though there isn't jack that you can do with a warning. Heh!

Glad your car will be repaired without drama and that you can get some cosmetic changes done in the "bargain".

Wooooow glad you are ok I have seen people get killed by hitting a horse, horse went through the windshield and totally destroyed occupants inside. The only things you can hit here in Florida are potentially devastating as well>>> Obese people. :D

How politically incorrect can you get. "Insensitive" is another good word. But I did laugh. Hah!

Reply of the year. Gold.

But seriously, going off topic but the amount of obesity in America is alarming today almost 40% of Americans are obese and multiple studies show that by 2029 50% of the American population will be obese, sad...

Since the theme of this thread was originally about the danger in Australia, with @dazzabozza colliding with an Australian kangaroo, hope he gets that repaired quickly and looking like new again very soon, thought I would upload a video I watched two days ago, about " 50 Facts about Australia ", I found it interesting and learn't a thing or two, might be interesting too our forum members from other countries.
