#burnWe also don't know for sure the wireless charging and the 360 cam will come in the G70 in America. They're reviewing a Canadian version.
Hyundai dealerships don't sell Genesis cars in Canada. Genesis is purely through their online store. The reason why they advertise their online purchase and valet delivery is because their only dealerships are hyundai dealerships.
Even though they are 99% the same cars, it is true that the competition is different.
The Stinger is a cheap version of very expensive cars (6series, A7, panamera...), and the G70 is a equally priced alternative of small size luxury cars (3 series, c class...) with more luxury/performance for the money.
thats percisely why genesis has to sell their cars the way they are selling. cant sell genesis off hyundai dealers and probably too expensive and time consuming to establish their own network of dealerships.Hyundai dealerships don't sell Genesis cars in Canada. Genesis is purely through their online store.

Nothing here in Sask yet, but I hope they'll do their at-home thing so I can test drive in my own roads. They just opened a store at the new airport mall here in a Edmonton.
I've been shopping between the G70 and the Stinger. Not a deal breaker, but the fact that the Stinger has ambient lighting and G70 does not, point to the Stinger. Also many have come out with tunes and performance accessories already for the Stinger, which means the public is really adopting the idea that Kia is not only acceptable but for real when it comes to performance, time will tell on reliability - especially with tuned models. Personal-wise I have kids and we'll need the extra space, comfort, and utility. I do like the auto bolster tightening on the G70 but I can forgo that if I can save $7500 CAD and still get more room and utility. And that exterior looks though! It's already the best option for me. Now if Kia just either take away the hood vents or make them functional hopefully in the next 2 years and come with sport exhausts right out of factory, it'll be perfect!
Does it? I based my info off of this video but this could be any other market outside Canada so it could be different and granted I didnt do any due diligence. Now that I watch it again, he did say "not much else for ambient lighting"Preach on brother, on a side note the G70 does have ambient lightning.

The korean model does not have ambient lighting. It seems what I was looking at was the Korean model, now the thing is, does the Canadian version get it.
The korean model does not have ambient lighting.
And the thing is, if the korean model doesnt have it, like the Stinger, it means that the interior hasnt been designed having in thought a nice integration of ambient lighting. If you want nice ambient lighting you need to create lines with panels that overlap each other and create room to place LEDs underneath. So even if they add it for oversea version, it will most likely look like an aftertought with a little light here and there but it will be miles away from the nice integration you get in recent mercedes / bmw / audi.
BTW, In the video above, the light in the footwell is the thing that all cars get when you're in P mode.
Official spec:AWD definitely adds more than 80Kg
