The wife finally tried driving the Stinger

My girlfriend hates it, rolls her eyes when she sees sport mode pop on the screen, she misses my K900.

LOL mine did the same thing. She's like "why do you need it sport mode?" I had no response that would make sense to her, so I just I dunno.

My fiance loves the Stinger, but then again she also loves the Corvette, too.

I have to be careful with flaunty things like that, I drive a Bimmer now and I'm already considered an *sshole for driving one. I've already done a turn or two in a parking lot without using my indicator too...

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

You should definitely check out Blipshift then, they seem to always have something BMW on their site. Today they have a 2002 BMW shirt.

My wife loved the Stinger, especially how great it looked. She also couldn't understand when I decided to trade my Stinger for a MB S550...that was until she rode in and drove S550. Then she was like "Why didn't you skip the Stinger and go straight to the MB."

However, she prefers driving her Telluride because it sits higher...

Budgetary reasons? No? Then I echo the same question?

Two reasons:

First, I had followed the evolution of the Stinger creation for years and looked forward to owning one. Then, my favorite color is Blue, so when I walked into the dealership and saw that beautiful Micro Blue GT2 sitting there - I fell in love! Then I hurt my neck and the Stinger was no longer comfy for me.

Second, I didn't know just how amazing the MB S550 is and how I could get a mildly used pre-owned one at 40% of original retail.

On a plus note, I still get to see my beloved GT2 M-F because my VP Human Resources purchased it. She even takes me to lunch every once in a while and lets me drive it, so I get the best of both world's.

All of the ladies I've had in the car seemed to like it. They love the red leather, as do I. My ex girlfriend loved the car. Let her drive it a few times and it always put a smile on her face. It gets a lot more attention from guys than girls though

Anyone with a significant other that hates their Stinger needs a wife like my coworkwer's. She had to take his (2013 or 14) mustang GT to work one day and hated it SO much she bought him a new car. On their anniversary he came home to a brand new Charger scat pack waiting in the garage.

He said he had told her that if she hated the mustang so much to buy him something new; he didn't expect her to take it literally, lol.

What a woman.

Honestly, I hope my trade to the BMW is exactly what I wanted all along. I've been floating the idea of a used Miata for a while now. I really liked the coupe traits of my Mustang and the fun it was when getting on it. The Stinger for me was a move to get out of my degrading rattle trap Mustang, only to become a car with rattles itself. For me, the M240i has - a great sounding engine, initial quality is great so far (still brand new though), small (strikes that Miata chord a little), tossable, great in winter with X Drive. I really hope it ends up being what I always wanted from the Mustang but wasn't willing to pay the extra for initially. We will see...

I say you'll be out of that car in 2 years tops. Based solely on your car history to date. This coming from someone with 18 vehicles in the 29 years I've been driving. ;)

My wife doesn't like the stinger b/c she feels so low to the ground and regardless of how high she puts the seat, "it feels too low"...geezus! I also have an exhaust and secondary cat deletes so she also doesn't like that it "sound like a race car".

I did stick it out with the Mustang for 3-1/2 and that thing was getting super annoying, starting from about 1 year in. If this car holds up better, I might be able to handle 4 years...lol. Fun to drive does help with some quality issues lol.

My wife is not a fan either, probably because I picked it out to be our family car and she sees it as her car. I usually drive the C6 Corvette, which she does not particularly like to drive either. I love driving both of them, so am always happy behind the wheel.
