Dear ladies and gents,

I was contemplating using Lucas fuel additives in my GT1. Historically, I have used Lucas products in all of my rides present and previous and had wonderful results. Any thoughts?

Fuel additives are largely snakeoil and a waste of time. As you rack up the miles, the car WILL benefit from something to clean the valves such as CRC's GDI intake valve cleaner, but fuel additives aren't going to benefit you with a new car.

This has been discussed elsewhere but Kia's official recommendation is Chevron Techron ... I believe every 7500 miles. Lucas makes good products but I generally follow the manufacturer's recommendations.

Thank you kindly.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I have used Chevron Techron for years and figure it can't hurt and its pretty inexpensive when Costco has it in stock
