So like many of you, I search for "THE" parking space, out in the back forty, several spaces from the nearest car. Lately the biggest most "Hill-Billy" big a$$ trucks have been parking right next to me. Anyone else going through this? It happens with my Chrysler too. So today I get out of work and find these parked next to me...I swear, I can't win. At least they were considerate and left a space between where they parked and my driver's door. :cautious: The entire rest of the parking lot was empty. Apparently the landscapers have arrived! Now to find a new space...guess my cars have a magnetic personality? :geek:

wow! i parked at trader joes, far from the enterance, come back and there's a lady with busted up camry and she swings the door with no regard for my car next to hers, i watch in horror as it gets within a inch of my door. she see's me and quickly accelerates out. you just can't win..

Been there done that. I always park as far away from the entrance to whatever in a car park and literally park like this-

I don't care what others think they can take a hike. I do NOT want my doors bashed and yes, it does work.

Just recently and on a Sunday morning i parked my Commodore in the middle of Deep Space, not a single car near mine for a million light years, when i walked out of the shop, i just could not believe it, i just wanted to scream out LOUD , WTFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUK:mad:, you could hear that ongoing echo, a real old beaten up little suzuki was parked right next to me, no one else near me still but this one piece of you know what, it does my head in why someone has to park right next to you, when they can see you parked there on purpose to stay away from other cars, so much you had to call a taxi to get you to the store because you parked so far away.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:..haha:)

Lol and I hear ya with this one! I try to do the same and someone always parks next to me even in empty lots. I think you’re right and everyone is drawn to our cars. They must come take a closer look and have to park because they are stuck staring! But at least those big trucks act like a bodyguard as nobody else is parking anywhere close to them.

Wow I agree about parking away from anyone but don’t be that guy taking two spots in a packed lot.

In my area those people are called “insert insult here” and their cars get keyed all the time!:thumbdown: If you’re trying to protect your baby I would not make it an easy target for inpatient people or you will probably become a victim yourself. Just my $0.02 and hope you no longer want to be “that guy”.;)

My sister used to drive a mini-cooper and she told me she purposely does that just to screw with people. She does takes care not to hit their car, however.

I like end slots where I can crowd the line away from the next car. Also pick slots between other "nice" cars, not by rolling junk or dirty trucks if you must park in crowded lots. And play the percentages....there is always a driver's door opening next to you, but maybe -- maybe -- not a passenger door. My 13-year old GTO looks pretty good.

These are public parking lots...you do your best but really can't control what the public can and will do.

I've seen too many YouTube videos of people vandalizing or harassing people who take 2 parking spots.

In the US you'd likely get your door keyed! Especially at Walmart! Lol. Be careful out there!

I'd welcome a mini cooper, at least you're not pinned in the parking space. Better than a big a$$ Ford 350 owned by Joe Bob... (oh wait, I might be profiling here- no offence).

i don't think its the car, well, it might be, but anyway, its the same thing in ny when riding the subway, completely empty car and when the first person comes in, they sit right next to you.. WTF? there is a whoooole empty train car, sit over there. also, when you are standing in line, why does the person behind you have to be thisclose! back up! whew, thats my first rant of the day. my line cooks better watch out.

I also hate when your standing in line and the person behind you is tailgating you, it's like back off, that's one of the things i really hate the most, it's also like get out of my personal space, and i thought i was the only person on this planet who is bothered by it...:). Some people are so close, when you turn your head you could almost touch lips...haha.

"BMW drivers"?
Lol! I wasnt going to say that and was thinking of a few other "choice words";), but you are soo right!

No offense to anyone but around me every "d-bag" that does that is either a Benz or BMW. Swear some of them think they rule the world and rules dont apply to them.:mad: But karma is a "B" and always catches up with them in the end so I just let the universe sort it out.;)

Absolutely agree- the cart or stroller in the back of the heel is always fun too!
