Has anybody noticed your headlights getting a layer of mist/fog in them when the day starts to warm up? Is it just condensation ie the warm sun hitting the cold headlights. Or should I be concerned there is moisture getting into the headlights. My stinger spends most of its time in the garage.

It goes away as the sun warms them up more. Both headlights do it.

My 2019 GTS does it. Especially worse after the engine cools down. I started a thread about mine about 3 or 4 months ago and no one had the problem you and I have. I took mine to 2 local KIA dealer in Augusta, GA and they could not replicate it and said just fog would not hurt the light unit unless it was real water/moisture within the headlight enclosure. Ill post some more pics of mine. I looked online and the KIA Optima"s had similar headlight fogging.

Look in Lighting Inside and Out Forum section .... Fog In Headlight Housing

Look at where your Stingers live. Out West, in the mountains with mostly dry air, we don't get this. If a headlight lens has inner moisture/fogging, it likely means some water getting in, i.e. something is broken.

It is normal.

Thanks I will look that up. I have seen it a few times. When I lived in AZ it was dry dry dry here in Md it is wet wet wet.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
My Stinger does it, too. My wife's Sportage does it as well. We took her's in for it, and Kia says it's normal - unless it will not go away or gets worse. It pops up usually after a wash or rain in warmer air, then cooler air sets in after dark.

Thanks here is a link to the thread. I will keep a eye on them, both do it.

Mine, so far, has only been early am as the sun comes up, car cold.
