That's weeeird...but cool i guess...

All Stingers have 50+ psi inflation from the dealer. They come that way and as far as the consensus goes, NO prep reduces psi anywhere. So far, not one member has chimed in and said, "My tires were inflated at or below 40 psi when I took possession."

But you are lucky. The rattling sunroof is not that simple.
That is one thing my dealer got correct.

My front tires were at 32 and the rear at 34 when I got it. But checking with a known accurate gauge the front were actually 29.5 and the rear were actually at 31 and 30.5 Since it had 2,800 miles by then, I set the fronts at 34.0 and the rears at 36.0 Haven't noticed any difference in ride and the 2 miles to the interstate is petty pitted. The dash display now accurately reports the real pressure - have no idea why putting about 5 pounds more pressure would correct the accuracy?

My tires were dead on adjusted to proper psi

I took my GT2 to have her first oil change done and have them check out my creaky sunroof and a strange, tambourine sounding type rattle that was occurring whenever my rear tires went over bumps. The service manager and I took a ride and he heard the issues I was talking about. He took the car back and had it for a half hour or so then asked me to take another ride.

My car was absolutely silent on the test drive. No rattles/creaks from the sunroof, no tambourine sound from the rear of the car, nothing! Here's where it gets weird...he said my tires were over inflated and that can cause the noises we heard....WHAT?!?!?! They were inflated to 55 psi lol and he dropped them down to 38 and all noises are gone!

Maybe this is normal and some of you may say "Of course you idiot!!! Over inflating your tires will make your sunroof creak!" LOL But I gotta admit this surprised me

If I'm not mistaken, you can check tire pressures from the menu screen on the dash.

I noticed this thread late. Been a little busy.
All 4 of mine were overfilled. Had about 54 pounds in each.
