• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

I didn't expect it.
We have all heard about the US Stinger owner's receiving gifts from Kia Motors America, and us Aussies have already resigned to the fact, nothing is on its way via courier or mail, or Uber, or even a two legged bouncing Kangaroo, too say thankyou for purchasing the first generation Kia CK Stinger.
But on Wednesday 16th May my fortunes changed, outside the corner of my eye, i could see the Kia logo, i thought too myself "no friggin way", i was 100per cent sure us Aussies were not getting a thankyou gift from Kia Australia, i picked it up, opened it with a click of my fingers, and then as i saw what was inside, i almost fainted, and a light from heaven shone upon me, as i could hear the angels sing, and all i thought about at that moment, was wanting to thank Kia Australia for this grand gesture they sent too me.

The following video sums up how i felt when i opened the gift too reveal what was inside.

Sorry , i have been rambling on about this event, i will remember with fond memories, and still have not told you what the gift was.
It was a F:mad::mad:k:mad::mad:g, Automotive Industry Survey on behalf of Kia Bullsh:mad:t Australia survey on my first 3 months of my Driving Experience with my Stinger, and of course, it only takes 10-15 minutes, they tell you, not half a day like it did me.
Anyway im happy i got to vent that experience, Have a nice day and thanx for reading this till the end.:)

Did you tell them how you & the rest of us Aussie owners feel?.......man I hope I get one, oh wait too late I’ve been driving mine for 6 months, they only want 3 month opinions :(

I sure did tell them how i feel , firstly the lack of a gift, my dealership experience, i suggested a Stinger Drive Experience Day would have been great, too experience first hand the safety features in a controlled environment, imagine the confidence as a driver if you have seen for yourself AEB in action, also the key FOB could have had Stinger on it, instead of KIA.

Agree, you know the Dealers had a Stinger Drive Day, at least my dealer did they told me they did it at Eastern Creek.

I received a voucher for $800 for a photography family portrait care of Kia Aust. My wife said bin it and I agreed. :(:(:( "Went there, did that but didn't get the T-shirt":laugh::laugh:

I got a grand of accessories included in my deal. Couldn’t find $1k worth to spend it on.... so I’m getting a cash refund. Seriously, I can’t even spend the money and am trying to convince the dealer to find a way to take my money. That is crazy.

Hey I didn’t get a voucher they just took photos when I got the paint protection done cause they said it looked so good. It’s was nice if they did but a set of head phones would be better.

Wonder what you get when you buy a Ferrari ?
First of all i think you have to be approved of first. Then you have to wait. I think you get allocated a trophy wife on receipt of said vehicle

Canadians didnt get anything either , I think the US gift was a PR gesture intended to tone down the heat they created by chintzing on the options/features for the US buyers ........................

That’s funny trying to make up for the paint chips! Lol

I knew a foreign exchange student from Canberra (sp?) and she said an Aussie guy's idea of foreplay was poking you in between the ribs with a finger and saying, "you awake?" if that's true, then kinda par for the course, no? ;)
