Test drive tomorrow - specific issues to check?

Things mentioned already pretty much cover everything that has happened to more than one Stinger owner. Even so, they are super rare to pretty rare. Paint imperfections is one of the more common, rare things; as are rough/juddery brakes and a noise from the hatch. The brakes and hatch "rattle" (thump/clunk) are the easiest to fix. Most moonroof noises manifest later, and are still not common (based on the actual lack of complaints per number of cars sold so far). I'd say don't borrow trouble that isn't there. And look the car over carefully for visible stuff. The test drive should be nice and quiet. If it's not, mention what you hear and ask to test drive more than one car for comparison. (All this I offer because of reading others' experiences over the last year and a half plus; I got my GT1 sight unseen and drove off in it; and it's as trouble free as a car can be over the last c. 23 months.)

Thanks, Madman! I'm all good with the brake "issue" - proper bedding!! Other stuff mentioned is minor. As noted in another thread, I just want to be seen as getting a good-great deal, but being early in the model year, I understand the situation. I was ready to get one sight unseen from other states. Glad there's just what i was looking for nearby. I hope to exercise a little restriant!!!

Not sure what kind of deal you can work on a 2020 but if it's a 2019 there's ALOT of room to negotiate. I bought my brand new, 2018 GT2 AWD 10 months ago that was priced just shy of 54k for 40k plus TX & TTL. Not bad and there's members on here who did better than that. They're giving these cars away as no ones buying them. Obviously this is why you very rarely see them in the wild. Unfortunately, people would rather pay 30 grand more for a badge and a car thats mayyyyybe 10% better...or not better at all. Good luck and keep us updated!

When checking paint work, remember to open the doors and check inside and the boot as well. Step back and look at the panels for any small dents etc, the Dealership we went to had one with a dent on the passenger side and hubby had to point it out to them as they had said " you can have this blue one on the floor " .......no thanks !

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
