I dont get the question then. Its brand new. Shouldnt be anything to check for.

Only thing i can thing of was inspect the paint depending on color but like i said its a new car.

Ride with the sunroof shade open but not the actual sunroof open. Some owners have experienced noises from the sunroofs rails/assembly. Other than that maybe just look for imperfections in the paint. Best of luck from a GT1 Awd owner.

I think the manual says it does 0-60 in 4.9 seconds. I suggest you check whether that is accurate.

Check PSI accuracy (some people report getting 50 psi tires when it should be in the low 40s)
Check treadwear (depends on mileage of the new car)
Rattles in sunroof
Rattles in hatch
Road noise
Mess with all the electronics and buttons to see if they function properly
Check if Navi works (some people report missing SD card which is required for navi)
Inspect paint for chipping
Inspect chrome trims for cracking
Pay attention to brakes (warped brakes-symptoms, FAQ: Vibration under braking: warped rotors? NO!)

Welcome to the forum! Make sure the speakers don't have the fade issue. Turn on the radio, press the setup button below the touch screen, press the sound option on the touch screen and make sure the sound is centered in the car. If it's to the rear, this may be the fade issue and you'll have to reset it quite often as it will default to the rear when you turn off the car. Kind of a pain but I've learned to live with it. Doesn't happen all the time and I just reset it when it does. Some people have had the whole unit replaced but I'm not comfortable letting the Kia techs rip apart my dash so i just deal with it. Hopefully they've solved this issue with the 2019/20. Good luck and post some pics when the deals done

Granted, my list probably only pertains to post-test drive, before you pick up the car since you can ask the dealer to fix most of the stuff lol (although, do you trust them to do that service? Depends on the reviews of your preferred service center)

Oh and if they say you'll get a Stinger loaner when your car is in for service...get it in writing

Oh, I'm not! This is the 1st one near me in over 6 months of searching. I had visited the dealer and mentioned specifically which I wanted. Made no committed request or order. 3 weeks later, my exact choice showed up. They didn't contact me either. Found on one of the many search sites. I can afford it having had no car/mortgage payment for years. Just want to be seen as getting a good-great deal. Will not be my DD.
