I was driving behind a line of left lane cloggers behind a pickup truck and then a Tesla Model Y and then me. The pickup oozed its way past the cars in the right lane and then pulled into the right lane then the Tesla sped up and pulled into the right lane as well. I hit the gas to pass all of them when all of a sudden the Tesla blows past me and then pulls into the left lane in front of me spraying salt and rocks all over the front of my car. I never looked at the guy, I never flashed my lights, and I wasn't tailgating. I didn't floor it when I passed.

And now you feel a little better blowing off steam here. We are here for you. :D I just hope that no nicks in your car happened from the flung road crud.

Why did the car let the driver move the vehicle with the door opened? I'd think that would at the very least create a shit ton of bells/alarms, even better not allow it to move until either a safety confirmation was bypassed or no op at all.

Well I'm in the median with mud up to my side view mirrors after trying to follow all of that.

I've had one Tesla do an ahole move, thinking they were boxing me in, only to find out a second later I was turning and they wasted 20 miles of range being an ahole. lol Other than that, nothing noteworthy stupid yet from the local Tesla owners (there's lots of 'em here too). Owning a Tesla is mostly just a status symbol in Vegas.

I'm gonna need to see a few diagrams in sequence to better understand what the OP is trying to describe. Right now, all I get is that he's mad the Tesla was apparently faster and changed lanes in front of him by doing the same move he was planning?

^^.. Nah... just post the video. A diagram is still subjective.
But the entertainment value is usually higher when seeing poorly drawn cartoons!

Edit: grammar from quote

I have never seen a tesla race or even accelerate fast except my coworkers model 3. They are gutless around my area

I saw a couple pulling 11's at the track back in the summer.

The title of this should be changed to "Tesla owner is an A$$hole, as they all are.
Tesla owners are worse than early 2000's BMW owners.

I think it's 33/33/33 between being prior BMW/Audi/Prius owners. The car attracts an eclectic crowd. Few of them seem to drive the car like the machine it is, though. I did have a Plaid take off at a light (it was immediately in front of me). They are... quick. lol In hindsight I wonder if he noticed what I was driving and was showing off.
