Telluride/Stinger

So there you go. By your standards, the Telluride is "as good as" the Stinger.

I personally dislike the Telluride, inside and especially out. I can't say if there's something I would prefer more as I'm not shopping for an SUV - I have one (2015 Sorento) that I am happy with (although it's not as "fancy" as the Telluride.)

It's also worth mentioning that the Highlander is in the last year of its lifecycle and the Pilot is close as well. A brand new completely revamped Highlander will be available as a 2020 model. Your "better" may be short-term.

I don't think so. Apples and oranges but the Stinger is a much more significant car. The Telluride is a nice SUV attractively priced but not exceptional.

Lets go by the numerical standards used in thee studies. Since the fora keep asking the same question (what do I mean by better...which I already explained) over and over I will answer a second time.

We saw the Telluride score a 7 by a reviewer who gave the Pilot and Highlander a 6.8 and a 6.5. I posit that if it were the Stinger being rated by the same reviewer he would give it a much better score, an 8 or so. 8 is better than 7.

In fact, I recall a similar review of the Stinger and the reviewer gave the car a score of 8. These numbers are of course heuristic devices, but pretty good ones.

Excellent point. However, I never buy first iterations....more expensive and usually over priced.

The opinions of other people are just that and nothing more.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Subaru = cars for dog, nature loving hippies who don't mind driving a ugly and boring car fill of plastic interiors.
Volvo too much old fart image in the brand.

:D:rofl:

Not remotely true. These people make a living evaluating cars. They get paid to generate analysis. That does not automatically make them right but to say they are nothing but opinions is patently false.

Now my opinion is just that and nothing more.

Your car dyno'de 422? That is awesome. I would be interested in a 60-130 time. The idea behind this speed is that it simulates a highway roll on.

Nice try.

Their analysis is primarily personal evaluation influenced with bias. Anything other than head empirical data is an opinion.

We can agree to disagree.
