Thanks. Might try that too. Adjusting the rubber stops to even the taillights ended up that the left side hatch is a tiny bit higher than the body panel now (on a left side, because it was lifted all together), while the right side “hatch/body” ratio is OK. So may try your way to fine tune it.That adjusts the whole hatch position. I popped out the taillight access covers on the inside and loosened both screws so that the entire assembly was loose. There's not a lot of play in it, but I was able to push it while tightening it to change its position. I did also adjust the hatch position via those rubber stops, but that was minimal alignment of the actual hatch and quarter panel.
