• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Hey, best place for a dyno tune - not after the chip. Has custom exhaust and intakes. Don't care for warranty, care for full performance tune

There is no direct ECU flashing/tuning available in australia. You can get JB4 or unichip for tuning/instant performance devices, any exhaust place can do custom exhaust but i would get a branded one since you will have an idea of what it sounds like before forking out money for it. People have made their own intakes on here, so you can look that up or once again get a branded one since their are a few that are pretty cheap like the BMS one. Most decent mechanic places will have a dyno as well, best to just look up dynoing in your area although with a JB4 you dont need to "dyno tune" with unichip you need to.

I've been told differently - there are places that will flash tune or remap the ECU. UniChip like people to think that is the only option??

Unichip is a piggy back system, its not flashing your ECU like ECUtek for example. Unichip doesnt overwrite your ecu software and replaces it, it just intercepts the ECU and tricks it into thinking values are different and your ECU makes the required changes.

I think only tork in the US have a true ECU flash available for the stinger but gains over a JB4 or unichip are minimal. If i was you, i would get a JB4, easily the best platform for the stinger, easy to install and extremely good power gains.

Tek Works in Fyshwick seem to do a basic tune by flashing There big WRX tuners. I have spoken to them they say they can do it but very basic. I went to Blakehurst Auto in Sydney for my UNI Chip install and tune. I think there is only one UNI chip tuner in Canberra but was warned to stay away by some of the Boosters members,

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
