I got my headphones on Tuesday and my red book today (#392/1000).

Both were unexpected but nice surprises. I've had nothing but a good experience with my car so far.

Good on Kia for recognizing the initial customers who are, for lack of a better term, 'taking a chance' on the Stinger. I don't know if this is common practice across the industry or not but I've never gotten surprise gifts in the mail before.

I dony think it matters, i just received my book and headphones yesterday and a few minutes ago, i leased mine buy definetly plan on keeping it, best car ive owned.

Well this will be interesting, i wonder if they are numbered based on your actually owner number. I hope so cause it would finally give my Yellow a number.

I can't imagine they'll be that meticulous about mailing them out, but just bookmark the Sunset Yellow Limited Edition thread. It'll probably only take a few of us to figure out if they're sending them in order or not.

yeah i'm just hoping against hope. I think they could have at least put a badge somewhere with #/400 on it. I mean they are doing it on the Atlantica.

I have no illusions that this was sort of an afterthought. "Hey lets play it safe and not bring any non-mainstream colors to America. Oh wait lets just give them 400 Yellows and slap the Limited badge from the Sonata Hybrid Limited on them, then make the dealers fight for them. Boom, done."

Got my book today and the headphones last week. The book by far is the coolest to me. The headphones are on a shelf in box collecting dust. My book is sitting on the coffee table and I can’t wait to have company over.

It is not numbered by purchase “would have been cool”. I received mine today and got my car 12/12. I have seen others with later purchase date with a lower number.

Just as an fyi, I have received the headphones and book and I have a 2.0

So the main book definitely doesn't get numbered by production number. We'll wait and see for the Yellow ones. Even purchase date won't directly correlate with production number though, so given how unable people have been in figuring out which # of the 400 they got, I doubt Kia will put any more effort in figuring it out either.

Lucky you. Over here in NZ we get the Bunnings Sausage but no VB...Maybe in an attempt to follow Aus we will get a can of Fosters.
