Hi,

I've had my car for 2 months now. Since then the temperature in Houston has been almost 100F every day, so no need to use my sunroof. The other day, the temperature was a little cooler in the morning so i thought i'd open the sunroof. The sunroof works fine when you pull the button back - the sun shade slides all the way back and then the sunroof opens and slides all the way back.

My understanding is (and also checking the owners manual) that if you push the button forward, the sun shade should slide all the way back and then the sunroof should tilt all the way back.

Is my understanding correct? When i push the button forward, nothing happens?

If so, anyone else experience this issue? I did see some instructions for resetting the sunroof but little concerned on trying this as there is a warning that it may not work properly if done incorrectly.

Thanks!

I think you actually push the button up to get tilt, not forward or back.

I've only used the tilt 2 or 3 times, but I think this is correct.

Confirmed: push up and the back edge of the glass raises slightly. The sun shade has to be opened first, or will open first and then the glass tilts up.

Related: it took me a while to learn how to not pull or push the "moonroof" trigger too far. I was always making the whole thing open all the way or close all the way, necessitating a secondary application of the trigger to either close the glass or open the sun shade. :P
