What about the seasuckers roof racks? I don't have one, but was looking at them if I decided to get one. Maybe someone in the forum has experience with them?

Any of the racks that use straps and hooks will damage the paint. I went to uHaul and had them install a trailer hitch and use a hitch-mounted rack. It's one bolt that I can easily remove to take the rack off when not in use.

Having said that, there are several on here that use the SeaSucker vacuum mounts with much success and no paint damage. Probably not an issue with a clean surface, but possibly an issue if dirty.

The SeaSucker I saw, wouldn't that block the sunroof to come out?

We have the 4-bike 2" hitch adapter from Allen, and it seems fine - have used it 3 or 4 times..

Car Id said they had 72 of the Reese hitches. May need to see about getting one + a 1.25->2" adapter (Allen bike adapter is 2"). But $250 for the install? Seems a bit high.
