Stock Stingers

No mods yet, although I plan to install an oil drain bolt access panel and Fumoto valve with my first oil change.

try the Valvomax ... i've had a Fumoto before and liked the design and construction of the Valvomax better.

this time i went with an oil extractor for the Stinger, though.

^^That part I understand, but why ask the question in the first place? If you're trying to gather stats, perhaps a survey option would be more useful.

I don’t mean my answer to sound rude but I have no agenda or motive. It’s just a question and nothing more

While we're on the subject, what is stock anyways? To me, stock means basically no engine/suspension mods. Which is why I said my car was "basically" stock. Honestly though, once you change anything that didn't come that way from factory, it's not really stock anymore imo.

True

Only had the car for 4 months, with just over 1,100 kms (about 700 miles) on it now.
Only mods have been cosmetic so far. Trunk lid spoiler, tinted windows, body side moulding, mud flaps and Xpel clear film on front bumper, hood and partial front fender. Also replaced the two shiny black (fake) hood scoops with carbon fibre finished scoops.
Car will be hibernating this winter (snowing today already), so any further changes will come next spring and summer.

Wish I could store my car in the winter. Already store the Lightning all winter and the Stinger is a daily driver.

I see you're from Canada, does the Canadian government do the same thing as we do here in Minnesota? Find the most corrosive materials known to man and spray/dump them in abundance on the roads?

Oh yea, for sure. Seems to be mandatory around here.
They spread salt on the roads even when they are perfectly clear, because you know, the forecast said it MIGHT snow an inch or so later tonight.
Every car I've ever owned here I've had to retire because of the rust, and not because there was an engine or drivetrain problem.
Perfectly good running cars falling apart due to our winters.

Yep, sounds just like Minnesota.

All Stock. 2019 GTS with 10,000 miles on it. Just oil changes and car washes.

Our '23 GT-Line is basically stock... so far. If this is strictly a commuter and daily driver, I'd have no problem with it staying like it is. These things stock are more capable than most give them credit for.

I have a 22 stinger and the only thing I’ve done is tint the windows and I’m in love with the car stock so just wondered if others felt the same. I don’t track it or anything. Can’t resist a heavy right foot but nothing crazy

Personally, I don't think I've EVER owned a car that I didn't do something to. Be cosmetic, engine, suspension or back in the day, swapping out the factory stereo I'm not the type to leave shit alone. "Always gotta be messing with something" the Mrs would say.

Well if I stick to my guns then this will be my first one I’ve left alone and I’m 65 years old. lol

I gotta say as I get older I want stuff to work, and modifying things has the nasty side effect of breaking things that should work. My 17 year old is still struggling with that though...
