Everyone, when I owned my Camaro, every year since they brought the car back in 2010 I would attend CamaroFest, a weekend somewhere in the central US where all Camaro's (Typically 5th Generation and newer, and some older ones also) to meet and greet, party, and just have fun. We would invade a central US town typically with a track so we could run our cars. After time it has grown so huge that dealers would show up, parts venders, some of the GM Camaro design team came out

....made several friends over the years and it was worth the effort to meet everyone in one place.

Has anyone thought about doing a meet and greet weekend party somewhere for all us Stinger owners? The enthusiasm about this car, is huge on here, and everyone else is starting to notice also outside of us owners already.

Maybe we should see about organizing something like this and really show off this car.

Putting it out there...… wonder if this would be worth exploring..... StingerFest has a nice ring to it.

Or you all can tell me to buzz off..... LOL.

I strongly support this idea - track or not (though I'd love to get on a track)! This requires someone who likes organizing these things, however. I know I'm not that person. LOL

I would like to attend, as well as see it grow and speak with KIA engineers and aftermarket companies about ideas and aftermarket parts materials and design firsthand. Similar to SEMA, bimmerfest, etc, maybe staged within a KDM annual meet to make it more alluring to the aftermarket and Korean design/engineering teams.

For real? Kia has said they’d sponsor it? We have a good amount of Stinger owners in AZ and if it happened during the winter, whoo wouldn’t want to come here?

I think the first thing at need to figure out is location. We have a LOT of Australians and Canadians, and while we can't exactly plan for our Aussie brothers and Sisters, we can/should plan on somewhere in the northern United States.

Well since this will be a yearly event it can rotate its location, that way it will give those who live across the country a chance to attend the following year.
We have a similar event in the Z community and I happened to be part of the organization last year. It takes a lot work, but the end result was worth it.

Hey!, I think it's a great idea if it gets sponsors and members support and perhaps Administrators and Staff Members of Other Regions in the States and other part of the world Seriously Organise this as One Year/ perhaps every few years Event and be moved around the Countries that can Host it Like Australia, Korea, Europe, South America, Canada and of course the USA
It can be Great for so many reasons but it will take some doing I think but like most things even from humble beginnings, you need a dream , a plan, support, determination, a will, and the love to what you want to achieve!

Love the Idea and if it gets of the ground as a international plan count me in as a supportive member to the cause!

YES, Kia will be involved with this event. I'm talking with a representative now... I'm going to start a poll so we can figure out where it's going to take place. I'm also going to move this into a new "StingerFest" specific forum so we can keep the discussions together...
