Stinger VS Nissan Maxima ..............Really ??

Listen, before things get out of hand as they tend to do on this forum when someone mentions a non-Stinger, I'm not saying one is better than the other, okay? I repeat, I'm not saying one is better than the other (this isn't necessarily directed at you but for others who may come along and think they need to defend the Stinger (I'm sure you've seen it here quite often as have I) ).

I'll reiterate what my original reply was. Someone said something about how nobody buys them, implying more Stingers are sold than Maximas. I replied that more people buy Maximas than Stingers.

That's it and that's all. I've said no more on the subject. I want no trouble, lmao. False alarm! I come in peace. Stinger Police stand down.

Yes you stated the truth......I was just providing background for your statement......peace

Maxima has a name that's been around for 40yrs now....the Stinger just entered year 3.....there is still a hesitation to believe in the Stinger by the masses AND Kia does a poor job of marketing it!
"Masses", lol. You can't believe or not believe in a thing that you do not know exists in the first place.

If (magically) everyone who knows the Maxima exists, also knew that the Stinger exists, the rate of Stinger sales would double or triple at least.

So you don't think the name "Nissan maxima " is known far more than the non-advertised Kia Stinger?
WE know the Stinger is a better all-round machine, but MOST still just hear the name and go "oh, it's a KIA! Their loss.....

Love you guys!

"Lost in translation": I am agreeing with you, and poking fun at your use of "there is still a hesitation to believe in the Stinger by the masses", because clearly "the masses" do not know about the Stinger, either that it exists in the first place, or that a Kia Stinger is not an Optima.:D

My bad!

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I'm not sure it's all that random. They are competitors in many aspects. I think no one sees them that way because who the hell is buying a maxima? That and all the press has implied Kia is not even bothering with its economy brand competition and is just going after the germans.

That said there really is no comparison between the stinger gt and the maxima. They make a comparison based on price while failing to mention the GT trims would trounce the maxima in every performance category any day of the week. Not to mention the standard tech that I'm sure you need to pay dearly for on the maxima.

The 2.0t stinger is definitely the more natural competitor and despite not having a V6, im sure it is at least close from a straight line performance perspective.
The Maxima is quicker than the 4 cylinder stinger and the v6 stinger is way more expensive in real world pricing, Nissan discounts Kia not so much.
