G70 suspension is better suited for track and pefoperform driving. I've driven both and ended up choosing the Stinger. As most have said interior rooms was more important than the handling. Also handling can be fixed with aftermarket suspension, but the G70 can't be stretched. Well not without spending way too money.Stinger is only ~100lbs over the G70, has just a 3" longer wheelbase, "sharper" steering feel (some say) and is only 6" or so longer overall. You'd have to drive them back to back on a demanding track to find much difference.
Put another way, most owners would never approach the limits of performance and handling that either car is capable of.
They also say that although the Stinger suspension is more compliant even in sport mode, so there is a little more body roll, the G70 is less forgiving even in comfort - and one of our own here posted pics of his being driven hard, the roll was noticeable but NOT an issue by any means. I will be driving mine hard, but it will also be my daily driver and comfort is a significant factor.
The G70 has NO room for adults in the back, unless the driver and passenger are, well, "vertically challenged"..
The G70 interior, however, like the other G-branded cars, is visibly superior.
.. and they have the 360º camera..
I’ve seen the Korean videos testing both Korean 3.3T cars since the G70 came out, the Stinger does quite well as a GT car and the G70 does what it was intended for as a Sport Sedan. Both are quite capable cars, the folks that prefer a smaller, faster, more hard edged car will love the G70. Those of us that want more space and comfort will love the Stinger. Since they come from the same company, my guess is those wanting the stiffer springs can get them from the G70 and put them on the Stinger. I do think the weak point is in the programming of the adaptive shocks on the Stinger. I had an S80 with the 4C suspension and Sport mode that car would feel harsh on anything but perfectly smooth roads, comfort made it a bit floaty.
I’ll say I personally haven’t driven a GT2 to test it’s suspension but the GT’s suspension I felt was perfect for my daily driving. If as some as said, there isn’t much difference when changing modes, then it has to do with programming. One member had something go wrong with his suspension and it was hard before taking it to the dealer to be reset, this lets us know the difference is in the programming. Now if someone could figure out how to tune that, the folks looking for a harder edged Stinger would be happier with a tune instead of changing out the suspension.
How did you get the kids out of the G70 so you could fall in love with it? I was there also and that experience is what pointed me towards the Stinger. Also, the Atlantica.I love the G70 and have convinced my brother to buy one when his Audi lease is up (we both fell in love with it at the NY Auto Show).
However, I'm still very happy with my Stinger purchase mainly because of the size. The Stinger just has a lot more room in general. The G70 is a lot closer to a 3 Series, the car I traded in for my Stinger.
I really like them both as well. I was a definite G70 at first because of the missing features for the Stinger in the US, but it seems the 2019 Stinger may rectify that. I guess I'll have to test drive them both now. I also like the idea of not having the first model of a new design because I don't want to be dealing with issues. My guess is they have fixed most of the Stinger problems for 2019.I love the G70 and have convinced my brother to buy one when his Audi lease is up (we both fell in love with it at the NY Auto Show).

LOL this is true...the G70 was flooded by people (a lot of them just blasting the stereo and sitting in it...) but we fought our way inHow did you get the kids out of the G70 so you could fall in love with it?
