Stinger SUV?

I recently purchased the silky silver/black Stinger GT1 and love everything about the car. FYI, this configuration is not listed on the website but it does exist. When I was finalizing the paperwork the finance manager said he was excited about an upcoming SUV that would rival the BMW X5. My wife drives an Acura MDX and we also love this car but as it ages the KIA SUV would be a great option.

I think you could put the 3.3 TT engine from the stinger into an SUV and that would be a great combination. Anyone familiar with this concept or have any good information on body style, name, dates, etc.?

I have no insider information at all. But the cold, hard logic of the market dictates that it would be malpractice for KIA not to make an SUV based off the Stinger platform at this point. The X5 outsells the 5 series. The Q7 outsells the A6. The Cayenne outsells the Panamera. A Jaguar dealer told me now sells more F paces (Jag SUV) than the rest of the Jaguar lineup combined. I expect it's only a matter of time before KIA follows suit.

That probably IS what the guy was referring to - but I doubt it'll rival the X5. And if I'm not mistaken, I think it's a little bigger than the X5. Probably in the middle of the X5 and upcoming X7. I do feel a good high performance CUV with Stinger DNA would be a hot seller...
