Stinger Steering Wheel badge

Would it be asking for too much if I wanted to request a little sticker to place over the Kia on my key fob as well? Lol

What’s the demension of the Stinger GT2 steering wheel badge? Need the steering wheel badge!!!!!!

I am looking all over the place to find a replacement. I just ordered the “E” front and wheel (19’) parts. Taking 4 weeks for it to be delivered to me! Aghhhh!!! Why isn’t there a faster way??? Loving this car so much, and once the badges are changed...wow!

Do we know when it’s coming out? Or where I can buy a badge to replace steering wheel?
We'll be releasing a steering badge in a few weeks, but expecting to have pictures within the next week.

4 weeks? Why so long? We have them in stock! The E steering badge we're making will likely go quite well with your badge theme. ;)

Has anyone installed a stinger (E) badge on the steering wheel? Have to get rid of the KIA badge

Just installed a $11.00 horn badge on the Stinger horn area. Removed the KIA horn badge that was installed by metal hooks. Have to use a sharp knife to remove the KIA badge. The picture is exactly how this badge looks although this horn shown is not from a stinger.

I don't know about removing the steering wheel emblem with a knife. That could cause the airbag to go off no? I am looking for sticker emblem to place over the Kia.

I've done it on a couple of Optimas. The knife is just used to push the tabs in so that the emblem can be removed. A flathead screw driver would probably be a better option. I don't really see how it would set the airbag off but you most likely will blow the horn a time or two.

Disconnect the battery if you wanted to be extra safe. Are all the horn badges basically the same with the clips in the same spot? Want to make sure I order the right one before prying off the existing badge!

Pretty sure disconnecting the battery won't prevent the airbag from deploying, although I agree there's little risk in switching out the badge as the sensors that would trigger the airbag are not in the steering wheel..

I've always been told that's a risk when doing emblem changes on steering wheels. And that's why all the replacement ones are stickers. Either way, I don't want to risk it.

To put it in perspective a lot more stress is put on it when road ragers are slamming on their horn or punching the steering wheel. If that amount of pressure doesn't cause the airbag deploy (and maybe it should? hmm...) a little bit of movement on the emblem surely won't.

You could always opt for one of these...
OEM Style "Vintage K" Steering Wheel Emblem - The Stinger Store

...they go along with these matching wheel caps:

These are overlays but not your typical decals/stickers. They're thin but made of strong material. They don't bend.

...and there will be a hood/trunk badge available in a week or so. I have an example of the hood/trunk badge - and it's OEM quality. It's heavy. Fanatical people might even think it's weighing down their car. :p

How hard is it to remove said sticker? Thinking about just getting that till an E becomes available.

Whichever stick-on piece you buy, you can basically just pull it off. It's not all that difficult. It won't come off unless you want it off - but it's not difficult...

It came with 3 emblems. Like a thick tin. Obviously covers original horn emblem. Exactly kia.....
