I, on the other hand, required months of "introduction", via the promo book - given to me by a slot car racing friend, who said: "Hey Doug, here's your next new car!", and then he walked off laughing; c. half a year later, I bit the bullet, with joy in my soul. It was the "Stinger Story" (how the car went from concept to production) that won me over. I didn't even need to see one in the flesh to know that here is a special machine, well conceived (classic gran turismo "redux"), developed and finally produced. Go Stinger! (Kia too, of course, for taking the plunge and giving the world this car)
