Hey guys,

My car took a hit on 95N tonight on my way home. A Camry ran over a tire debris scattered on the road my hit my passenger side mirror. I tried to avoid it but we were moving to fast. Anyway, the damage is on the lower cover of the outside mirror. All function of the mirror itself is still working fine and I'm trying to replace just the lower cover portion, since the whole replacement mirror assembly ranges around 319-450 from what I can see. I think I have the right part number, but wanted to check with anyone if they know. Part # 87608-J5000. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Wow, freaky accidents! I remember one to beat that (expense and annoyance/anger) from last summer, iirc: a member here was passing an 18 wheeler, whose tire blew right THEN!? The rubber/belts shrapnel carved up the front bumper and fender pretty bad.

Good fortune to you, getting your car restored pronto!

Thanks guys. The tire hit just above the fender and a pillar but thabk God for ppf it saved the paint and no dent. Just the damn cover. Hopefully the part gets here soon.

Not trying to be OCD even though I am OCD, but does your passenger mirror pointed more toward the inside than your driver side? Not sure if this has been like this before the accident or after.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Yes. All LHD car have the passenger side mirror pointed more inwards than the drivers side. This is to aid in the adjust-ability of the mirror.

I'm not going outside to look! :P The things we find out about in this place. Heh!

Ah thank you! It was driving me crazy thinking my mirror is definitely broken from the accident.
