I'm not Korean, so some translation would be necessary.
Car certainly looks good though :)

It definitely looks great! No srtcrazy05 you're not alone. I agree a rear wiper blade would be a welcome addition. To me anyway. It's going to be nice to start watching videos and reviews from owners in Korea on YouTube.

If it's in showrooms why isn't it on their website yet? I was hoping to get an idea on pricing of option packages.

Most need a translation because not a lot of video of the car !! Maybe the talking give us MORE info of the production car

am i the only one who thinks a rear glass wiper blade would be nice? they seem to be somewhat common on hatchbacks
I am torn on that front, I do like the added safety of having a rear wiper blade, but I am not sure I like the aesthetics of it lol.

Here's another dealership video but this time from Russia.

This article reveals that the AWD will have Launch Control, that's quite a biggie. And a very nice feature inclusion. Wonder why the RWD misses out?

That's a good question. I wonder if AWD vs RWD, is because power can be transferred between front and rear tires on AWD, whereas all the power will go to RWD all the time.

I wonder what type of bias Stinger will have the in AWD and if power can be transferred to individual tires.

imo the rwd car would benefit more from a launch control than the awd if only one type is gonna get it. the awd should be easier to launch with the extra grip that comes with it. finding that sweet spot with rwd would be more difficult

Youtube has translated closed captions. Doesn't work to well on this video though.

I like the idea of launch control and it's definitely making me want the awd Stinger more. I agree that it would make more sense on the rwd Stinger. I wonder what made them come to this decision.

Here is a 2.0 being closely video reviewed. Looks fresh...

Loved the key obsession

Thanks for posting!

A few observations:

1) At this point Kia should just bring the Σ to all markets.
2) This video just reminded me that the Stinger will have run flat tires. I hope there's an option for regular tires.
3) I also hope there's an option to remove the front license plate holder. I have to have a front license plate...but using the tow hitch is much more stylish. :p:D

How'd you determine it'll have RFTs? Haven't heard that anywhere.

I hope that I'm wrong regarding the tire, the video shows the bottoms of the trunk space and there's only a battery. Maybe the spare is removed, because it's a show room model. I just don't know where the spare is supposed to be...

Ah, ok. From all I've read it's got regular tires - I think the GT will have Michelin Pilot Sport 4. In your 2nd pic, the bag in the middle of the storage cubbie is a mobility kit - it has an air pump and something like Fix-a-flat in it. My Mustang is the same way - delivered from factory with conventional tires, but with a mobility kit instead of a spare tire.

A YouTube video by DM AutoTV of the GT Stinger at the Detroit auto show clearly show an aluminium centre hub under the jack when he lifts the carpet in the boot.

Different models and markets will vary, this is what we are seeing here. Performance gt surely won't have run flats.

For me...I'd like a spare wheel of some kind.
