Stinger Haus

Hey all, for those of you who installed the diffuser, how long do you have to wait for the adhesive to dry so you can drive again?

Thanks.

Install instructions say 24 hours. I drove 3 hours after install under 50 mph. Brackets, adhesive tape, and construction adhesive hold this diffusser VERY well. My favorite aesthetic mod so far!

Thanks.

Gotcha, thanks Rango. I want to complete the whole SEMA look eventually. Dealer quoted me $484.05 including install and said I would need to leave the car there for 24 hours for adhesive to dry.
Was drilling required? I thought I saw that on the instructional video on youtube.

Thanks!

Edit: There are two holes needed to be drilled to install the diffuser.

We will be listing the kit for sale online later this week if you're looking to do a DIY yourself? Did they quote you on glossy black or the satin black also?

There is no drilling required at all (on any of their parts), that's the best part about the kit! We will be listing the kit for sale online later this week if you're looking to do a DIY yourself? Did they quote you on glossy black or the satin black also?

Glossy black. I doubled checked with them to make sure they were quoting me the correct piece. Provided them pictures on the Stinger Haus website to make sure as well haha.
DIY is an option, dealer just gave installed quote but I haven't asked how much just for picking it up.

I didn't even use the adhesive lol I used the double sided tape and also drilled two more holes in the center of the diffuser to match up with two preexisting holes in the bumper so its never going anywhere. I had maybe 35 minutes wrapped up in installing the diffuser by myself.

Nice! 3M double sided tape does wonders. No need to wait 24 hours for that!

Your right Jonathan! I agree when i bought my spoiler it goes on with strong double sided tap.

Minor drilling is required for the diffuser. Check video at 14:00.
