How is the Stinger GT suspension? Does the $5k+ premium for the electronic suspension in the GT1/GT2 add much?

There isn’t much difference between the comfort and sport setting, half the time I can’t even tell

I'm my opinion I feel a difference. No evedince other than the car I drive when my stinger is parked. It is an 89 240sx very stiff (old bushings yes) but coils and arms and thin tires. And I can tell the pillowy comfort mode from the light bumps on sport supension.... it is faint and I with it could be tuned.

The adjustable dampeners make a huge difference on some roads. In Australia they apparently tune the suspension to "local conditions" - we have some bad country roads. Been on a road trip out to the countryside in both my cars - my other car has non-adjustable sport suspension and it is tough, the Stinger though in comfort is a dream.

On a nice road you won't feel a difference though so it comes down to where you're going to drive it. To me if it was always in sport suspension mode it wouldn't be much of a "grant tourer" as the roads I drive for pleasure are a rough time in sport (custom mode with sport everything except comfort suspension is where it's at on those roads). If you have nice roads and the other features of the higher model aren't worth it to you - save your money. I'd test drive both first though.

For what my friend above stated I agreee... but call me crazy because the sport suspension is the only way I drive! My custom mode is comfort engine, sport everything else. Only because I love love love the sport steering.. my comfort mode is never used as I mainly go between sport and custom. I did use eco and smart but saw better mpg (with my driving style) with comfort mode. And back to the start, I do not like the soft over-sensitive comfort mode steering so bam custom mode saves.

SORY 4 THE RAMBLE BTW

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I feel a big difference, my custom is the opposite sport engine, comfort everything else, just depends
