I purchased some Centric Posi-Quiet Pads that fit my front Brembo brakes. I then cross-reference and found they match the 2016 -2019 Cadillac CTS Turbos. Here are some part numbers that should fit the Stinger. Please double-check as I've only put the Posi-Quiet 105.10010 on. This is NOT an exhaustive list.

Centric Posi-Quiet 105.10010

POWER STOP Z261001

Hawk HB 787U.582

Raybestos SP1050XP

Good work MisterMac

Fantastic list of brake pads. I'm thrilled to see the AKEBONOs will fit the Stinger.
After 194,000 miles on my old BMW, I finally found the perfect pad for that car. Akebono. A brand I was not previously familiar with.
Perfect blend of quiet, low dust, and proper pedal feel (not too hard or too soft).

I will use them again when the Stinger Brembo's were out. (although I must say I have nothing bad to say about the Brembo pads that came with the Stinger. So far so good.)

FYI, my style is cruising the backroads. I know nothing about racing a car on the track.

Gyrodisk has one too.

Yeah man. us former G37 owners knows that Akebono brake parts are some of the best on the market. Most never heard of the company. They've been doing brakes before Brembo even existed; Just was not widely known in the USA.

Akebono's are great, especially for the German applications. Posi-Quiets are very good too. Just from past experience using them and selling them, those would be the two I would recommend for daily drivers.

I think the Centrix, stop tech and Gyrodisc pads are all good solutions. I only have 500 miles on mine but we will see how this is in six months or so. Now for rear pads to come out??

Awesome post - super helpful. I've been experiencing the dreaded shake and my plan is to pickup some AKEBONO pads and have them resurface the rotors under warranty for a first attempt (and install new pads at the same time.) Hopeful this will be a quick $50-100 fix that removes this shake. IT IS DRIVING ME NUTS!

I want to express my thanks as well.

I ordered the Akebono ASP1001 pads...I'll report back if I have trouble with them.

Any issues with the akebonos?

Negative...works just fine.

I installed the Akebono about 6 weeks ago and about 2 weeks ago they started squealing like a pig. It has been cold, and relatively dusty, but even after a thorough cleaning and some warmer weather it seems to persist.

I am considering swapping them out for the Posi-Quiet - these are driving me nuts.

Skip the posiquiets if you want no noise
Get the girodisc magic pads
Ive yet to have a customer have a remark or complaint about having any noise
