5x2 would be fine by me. I'm waiting on an estimate from the decal company...

1) I personally think the decal needs to keep the white background, so the lines of the car, and the KIASTINGER.COM with THE KIA STINGER OWNERS GROUP under it, stand out and do not get lost, if the white areas were to change to clear, it might get lost in the darkness of the window tint, and maybe also the sunlight shinning through it, being transparent.

2) I am thinking if to keep the white background, remove the square corners at the top of the decal, instead follow the lines of the roofline of the car on the decal, leaving just a slight millimetre of white as a border over the roofline on the decal, and acting as the outline where it meets the glass window, should make it stand out even more with tinted glass.

3) I think size the decal to compliment the dimensions of the side rear window, maybe even use the whole length of the bottom part of the rear side window, makes it easier to decide the length of the decal, the more wider the decal, it is easier to see, especially from another car, even if the decal is wider across the whole bottom of the side rear window, doesn,t mean it has to be to much in height, as in up and down, and by following the roofline of the car on the decal, it's not just a boring old square decal.

4) Finally, i would like if the some of the lines of the car on the decal, resemble the Stinger a little bit more than it does now, if possible, like mainly the headlights, maybe add the side vent near the front wheel arch, or add the rear side reflector.
Anyway, these are just my opinions i like to contribute, in the end any final decision should be fine, and we should appreciate what Sal.C is doing to make this happen, while he is trying his best to keep up the maintenance of this forum.

I dont agree with point 1. If you keep it 5x2 inches it’s not so overbearing, and keep white print on a clear background means you only see the writing and logo not the background. If we start getting too complicated the price goes up and sales go down. So far as the lines are concerned I would keep it exactly as Sal has it for the forum otherwise he has to change everything. We are advertising the forum not the car. If you wanted to go fancy make the writing chrome!

At this point, the design is pretty much stuck. I bearly have enough time to participate here after maintaining the back end and actually getting a few minutes of real work in each day. I agree with your idea on the white background but lost somewhere in this long discussion is the idea that we're going "all white" with the design. It'll keep the price down and allow for a pretty good looking "transparent" Stinger decal for the side windows. What do you think considering that? (all white)
