For those who've been wanting some idea of the exhaust noise (I recall a few on the forum mentioning it), here you go.

It's worth noting
  • This is from outside of the car instead of inside.
  • The car is sitting still in neutral instead of in gear and under load.
  • These seem to be mild revs instead of wide open throttle redlines.
  • The video is from South Korea, and Kia has suggested that other markets (i.e. the USA and Australia) may get different exhaust tuning.
  • Who knows how the different the sound is by the time it's been run through the mic on somebodies cell phone.
In short; I'm not sure this video is really all that helpful, but here you go anyways :)

Yeah saw this when Marco posted this a while back, and agree it's not an ideal video/sound clip to judge the exhaust note on. I still think it will be an important feature and they (kia) know it.

Not going to lie....that was a bit disappointing. I am sure Kia knows they need to get that right, so I am going to hold out hope for better sound.

everyone on the internet is going crazy and calling the car a grocery getter because of that exhaust note. not only that there are people talking up the video so people watch it and they're sorely disappointed. i keep hearing korea will have a quieter stinger so i'm not worried but i wish people would leave it alone already. the exhaust is going to sound different everywhere else.

Well we know Kia representatives are here reading what we say so they know they everybody expects. And not only here but pretty much everywhere. I'm sure they know that exhaust tone is important to buyers.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
