Yes, in automatic mode the Stinger is programed for smooth, comfortable shifts. It does a great job at offering both a serene atmosphere and an aggressive personality when needed...In automatic mode, the transmission is not as quick as I have experienced on some other high end cars on similar roads but once you switch it to manual, things get much better

"Automatic mode"? "Manual"? Do you mean "Comfort" and "Sport"?
