It's all good, I lucked out in a big way. I initially bought a refurbished 77C1 online from Microcenter for $1699, but when I arrived to pick it up, they had none. As appeasement, they sold me a brand new C1 for $1899- I was ecstatic at that opportunity and have been enjoying every moment for almost a year now- the C1 had only been out for a month when I made my score. No regrets whatsoever. There's no way to ever stay ahead of the tech curve for long...
Initial MSRP for the 77C1 was $3699 I believe.
I'd love to get a new tv, but am frugal about such things.
The current tv is a samdung 46" led, circa 2013. It's no 4K, but colors are well calibrated and no image quality issues. I'd love a 65", but have space limitations in the room, so probably 55" will be the largest when I upgrade. So while this one works, no upgrades. I have a 5700G based pc providing content. KODI FTW!!
My previous TV was a Panasonic 65" plasma from 2011, that was and still is a very nice TV. It's now relegated to a cottage I ABnB in Lake Placid, NY and enjoyed by my guests. Plasma had such a great picture, but the technology lost out, as it was more expensive and power requirements were often 4-5x more than equivalently sized LCD.
True on the power. I bet your 65" draws as much as that 46" one. I have everything on a ups, will review next time just how much it's pulling (hwinfo64).
I haven't done much after the Eibach sway bars, powder coating rims and various cosmetic changes but overall its been a great car.
The fact that Kia keeps emailing me and offering me a lot more than I paid for it is kind of a bonus as well.
I've been itching for a change though. I was thinking about a Supra (I know I know its a BMW). A nearby dealership has a blacked out 2022 in stock with the red interior. My biggest issue is that the Supra doesn't support Android.

Do you have any other cars you could daily? Supra and Stinger are very different cars. AWD vs RWD (especially in Canada), passenger and cargo capacity, etc.
If you have another more practical car then yeah I'd consider the Supra. However frankly I'd take a V8 Camaro over the Supra.

Keep in mind I'm a bachelor now and my daughter finally got her own place. I just bought a condo in downtown Toronto with a great underground parking spot.
I don't need back seats or a hatchback any longer and a smaller footprint car would be nice for maneuvering downtown (which is where I work as well).
A good set of winters on the Supra should be sufficient.
I was originally planning on an Audi S5 or RS5 when I bought the Stinger (I got a crazy half price deal on it). I was also looking at the BMW M4 coupe.

ah ok cool. How about BMW M240i X-Drive? It hovers around the same price of the Supra, at least in the US. Or maybe Audi RS3? There are so many good cars out there right now lol.
But if you like the looks of the Supra then go for it, especially since it can be a good fit for your situation.

I love the look of the Supra. I wish the Audi TT RS was still available but looks like its not going to get a refresh. It's AWD as well.
The new RS3 is a real banger but I'm not crazy about its looks, it pretty much has a Corrolla or Jetta vibe to it.
I do like the 240i, haven't had a chance to drive one yet though. Kia is offering me just under 40k for my car and I'd like to make the switch this summer while it still has low mileage.
