Still impressed by the fuel mileage

Yes diesel is great for MPG, until they ban diesel altogether :-( did a 80 mile round trip today thru some hills(Chilterns) with heavy traffic and then motorway on the way back, somewhat lumpy as well. Averaged 53mpg :)
I've toyed many a time in my head about getting the V6 but with petrol here at £1.30/litre ($5+ per gallon) and services every 6 months it's quite hefty on the wallet
So I've been wondering, does your fuel door have 2 seperate fills in it? One for fuel and the other for that diesel additive? Just wondered why our fuel doors were so big.

Yes, 2 separate filler holes. One for diesel one for adblue. Adblue tank is 18 litre capacity. Lasts about 6-9 months before refilling. Adblue is fairly cheap about a dollar per litre so 20 bucks every 9 months or so

I drive my Stinger for work and its a really phenomenal daily driver. Averaging 22mpg at 5,000 ft on 91 octane. Absolutely fabulous considering I drive like an a-hole

My average of 21mpg is plenty hahahahaha

Oh it's a Diesel? How are those power wise? We don't get those over here in the states.
For a diesel its still pretty zippy, although mine is tuned so probably somewhere around 230bhp up from the 200bhp stock, has plenty of torque. Very economincal if you drive sensibly. If you drive it hard all the time you will get 30mpg only but I think the new tune has probably improved economy as well at least it feels like it, I have generally never managed to get these figures above

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Another longish trip, 80mph on motorway. With about 70/30 motorway/rural roads. On a flat road at 70mph I can average over 60mpg.

TDI tuner, Map1 eco1
