Stereo speakers acting strange.

Apologies if this has already been discussed but I had a drive today in the Stinger and noticed that all the right hand side speakers were not working. Tried adjusting all the usual settings, reset them to default and nothing seemed to work. I turned the car off and then turned it back on and bingo, the speakers were all working again. This is the first time in 2 years ownership that this has occurred. Anyone else have this problem. THIS IS NOT RELATED TO THE QUANTUM LOGIC SETTINGS. THIS IS ALWAYS SWITCHED OFF.

Happened to me once...restarted the car and back to normal. That was 6 months ago and hasn't happened since. Hopefully its a one and done issue for you as well Nass!

Did you have your phone paired and make any calls while it was like this?
First guess is the amp just didn't "boot" properly, and/or one of the processors hung on start up, the restart fixed it....
I'm discounting a loose connection / heat event, as they don't typically get cured with a restart, normally requires a long(ish) cool down period

Document it in case it happens again, so you will have records

My 2018 with the HK did this too, especially after bluetooth calls. Stereo was replaced under warranty.

Carplay does some odd things from time to time... but one side only is very odd - I never have any issues when I use my Android phone, only my iOS (work vs personal)
Before the last update waze would kill all the audio but not actually play through the car or phone speaker... so I'd get zero audio... been good for a while now however

Hope it doesn’t come to that.

It's an expensive unit, so in terms of value.. it's not bad. In the US they have a TSB on the issue so.. I was happy they replaced it.
