I received my stage 2 HPFP and fuel it kit from BMS over the weekend. I got everything installed and the car is running perfectly. I can now see my ethanol content directly from the JB4 app.
The installation took me about 5 hours. I feel like I could of been done alot quicker had I known some things before hand.
I didn't know that getting the stage 2 fuel pump threaded onto the engine would be a nightmare! I was not strong enough to push the pump down and thread the bolts.I had to loosen the fuel -it adapter plate and then thread the fuel pump bolts. Once threaded, you can then tighten down the adapter plate followed by tightening the fuel pump bolts.
I also had issues locating a viable power source in the fuse box. The instructions are not well made and the locations that it suggested did not have power. The provided fuse tap can only be placed in certain locations in the fuse box due to its size. Once I found a source of power I was good to go.
I will provide pictures shortly!
