I am getting some Konig Oversteers and in the 19s they only come in 19x8.5. Will this size work with the rear tire size all the way around? Or would someone recommend a different tire size?

I heard 255 is the max for the front but some dealers may recommend 245

Offset?

45 offset will rub the struts, you're going to need around a 10 or 15mm spacer to get that to work in the front, but you should be able to put the 255/35r19 up there.

I'm also planning on doing a square setup and going down to 18 inches with a 255/40 tire. A cool tool I found on a website will allow you to input your stock setup, then input the setup you want to change to. They calculate suspension clearance, fender clearance, wheelwell clearance, and any changes in the speedometer. It also shows you a diagram of both, along with all the measurements you need to figure out if your setup would work.

Just remove the spaces, I can't post URLs yet...

Specifically for what you're trying to do,
Since you're making the setup in the front wider than stock and increasing the offset from 34mm to 45mm.
The setup will be 1 inch closer to the suspension and brakes. I haven't measured but if you put your hand between the struts and the wheels in the front, feels like you really only have half an inch of space back there. Give or take since I just used my super accurate finger ruler. You could probably get away with a 35mm offset but I would go lower if you can. There seems to be a lot more space on the fender side, at least an inch (again super accurate finger ruler).

Also maybe look into upping the width from 8.5 to 9. 255 is the absolute max for an 8.5 wheel and if you look at the rear tire setup, there is quite a lip. I'm not sure how this translates into real world performance but if you're asking that setup to handle the car, it might feel squishy? Maybe someone else can chime in on that one.

Curves never feel "squishy" on the OEM staggered setup; but with the 8.5 in front with 255 as well, I would be waiting for something like "squishy": you certainly encourage oversteer with a wider front tire. Personally, the OEM tires on the staggered setup work fine, especially with the sway bars upgrade. Going square with 8.5, without adjustable sway bars, will produce (I'm guessing) more oversteer; and this car already has a tendency to oversteer.

Might want to change that order.

Forgot to add, whatever wheel you end up getting make sure you look up the hub size. The stinger has a 67.1mm hub, you just need to get a hub centric ring converting whatever the wheel hub size is to 67.1mm. This will help avoid any weird vibration or slight bouncing feeling since lug centric is never really centered. They come in aluminum or plastic, I would get aluminum since that is a high heat area and because I like metal.

I've read in the past that tires of different manufacturers and models can have slightly different shoulder profiles, resulting in different sizes of footprints and presumably different clearances at the top. For example, a rounder profile 255 could have more clearance than one that is more square.

Anyone found this to be true? If so, tire choice might be a factor if every mm counts.

anybody know this owner? wonder if the specs are accurate now
The wheels look sunk. Not sure why he claims "poke". +35 offset would provide much better fitment.

(damn there's a lot of cringey things on that car, to each their own though.)

Time to share the cringe winner again :D (well, there was the "thing' in S. Korea before this one, but I didn't save any pics of it):
