I agree with your statement and that's why I think they should have focused only on the 3.3TT for the first year, then as production ramps up and they have decent supply, they can phase in the 2.0T's.

The following items were de-contented from US models: 360 degree camera, wireless charging, faux-suede headliners and rear heated seats.

Given where they priced the Stinger in the US I am not sure a 3.3T only strategy would have worked out. For Canada, with its very aggressive pricing strategy, that makes sense.

Wow! I didn't know about the headliner. I thought it was at least available on the GT 1&2 but I guess not. Too bad because it was really nice and a nice touch that set it apart from a lot of other cars, including the 3 German brands that have the cheaper nylon headliners.

The Korean spec model also included the passenger seat adjustment buttons on the side of the seat and cup holder cover:

I've seen the cup holder cover included on some of the Mexico Stingers, but I'm not sure who all is currently getting those seat adjustment buttons.
Of course, my wife thinks all of those features are really, really nice.

So that's at least 6 things that they could possibly throw in and call it a "special edition". Also, they could offer the 2 colors that they've ignored here in the US. Here's hoping they can at least offer up the one that they teased and displayed all over the country and then chose not to bother launching (Deep Chroma Blue).
