Searched for a thread about this but couldn't find anything. I'm wondering if anyone else is having this issue....

I have a 2019 Stinger GT with the 9 speaker system, and about 2,800 miles. I've noticed a crackling noise coming from the front speakers. It sounds similar to pebbles hitting the car when driving down the highway behind someone. I hear it on average, once ever second or so. A little more info:

-the noise stops when I turn the system off
-happens at a wide range of volumes (around 10 and up)
-not bass related, because it happens when no noise is playing. If the volume is on, but the song is silent, I still hear it. If its just someone talking, I still hear it
-happens with every input source (apple carplay, Sirius, fm)

Anyone else having this issue? any fixes? should I try to get it fixed under warranty? it's really annoying and I do plan on keeping this car for a long time.

There is something electrical interfering with it. May be wise to get the dealer to check shielding of high tension leads or it could be your phone doing it.

It would be hilarious if it's from whatever module it is that manufacturers the exhaust sounds!

Nothing even remotely similar to this has been reported before. Take it back to the shop. And let us know the outcome please. Good luck.

did we ever figure out a fix for this mine just started doing the same thing

I second this. Mine started doing it about a month ago but I’ve been busy with work so haven’t gotten the chance to get it checked out. I now mostly ride around with the sound off.

On another thread several months back, the interference/static was caused by bad coil packs.
