Spark plugs using octane booster

Just fyi to everyone only got about 10 thousand miles out of denso plugs using octane booster with 93 octane.over last few years. Stuff works great . But it kills plugs .just a heads up .

I know this is old but have you used the octane booster every fill up or “occasionally”

I used it a lot first year I had car. Works great but it kills the spark plugs within 6 to 8 months and at a year o2 sensors where shot. Just use 92/93 and 4 to 5 gallons of e85 it works just has good and it’s clean

Good to know! I don’t have access to higher octane. I just want to put the octane booster when I track the car and go higher maps. Daily driving nope.

Ya it work but if after you use run 5 tanks through and some fuel system cleaner it will help a little

Only question I have is did you go one or two steps cooler, not cool enough will burn plugs with a aftermarket performance tune especially with cheaper octane boosters.

Two steps . They weren’t burnt the orange chemical builds up so thick on plugs they start to misfire real bad.
