Software update issue ! Urgent

Car clearly sees my flash drive, it plays new sounds. The system is black/white when newer system is purple one, os its not newer I assume. Even though car is from US, but I'm not in the US.My dealership is trash, they didn't even know there is a way for update. I called customer service of Kia for 3 days and no one picks up a phone. Some say it might be the case that I'm downloading the USA version, but how does my car know in which country he currently is ?

My car is Canadian even though I'm in the US. I have to use the Canadian firmware. I think if the car was meant to be sold in a specific country then it wants that specific firmware.
