I ordered it back in November, it was delayed on the ship due to weather. It was delayed once here due to the snow...but yesterday it was ready....

This is the diesel 2.2. Only differences are: single turbo, no adaptive dampeners or air powered bolters. Everything else is the same as the top of the range 3.3.

I have to say, it corners amazingly. Only in eco mode for now, 500 mile run in. Then I'll unleash it.

It is a hell of a car.

okay, I'lll ask ... what are "bolters"?

is that the panthera metal or black? thinking about either getting a stinger in red or panthera metal, but can't make my mind up! Swaying towards red with red seats on a 2.0 GT Line S at the moment

Sounds cool! I have a couple Ford diesel trucks (2000 Excursion 7.3L 4X4 and an '86 F250 PU).

Are there Tax advantages to a diesel, in your country? The MPG sure is great!

,

the Uk government has just increased the tax on diesel. It is more the service intervals, 10k miles on the diesel, 6 k on the petrol.

I do 250 miles minimum a week.

It still flies, my god does it go.

nice and congrats on finally getting it! Any chance of some more pics of the car in different light? Did you pay extra for the gen 3 coating? Will this help preserve the paint better? So many questions haha

Good choice on color. This is the only color tone among the darker colors that attracted me. How to say. It is a combination of fierce, elegance and mysterious. Nice!

right now I'm doing ~300 miles every week, so I ordert the 2.0T cause I wanted the power. mpg should be good enough AND I am allowed to drivie in to City Centers, unlike the diesel cars next year

I think now you have more fun doing those trips ;)

Very nice! It would be cool to get a sound clip to compare with others here... I’m doing a 100 mile daily commute but do that in the ‘05 2.4l Camry. Love the color, same as my GT1 and it appears the color no longer available in the GT1 in US. Funny, I was giving some serious consideration to the new F150 3.0l diesel. WELCOME!

Right... Pay attention...here are the answers...

Gen3 was free, I negotiated it to be included.

The Diesel ban would not affect euro 6 diesel as this has add blu (urea)

The sound, is exactly the same as the petrol, silent, when warmed up.

I will take more photos of it in the sun.

Missionary... Oh, no one asked that. ;-)

Thanks for posting! Can you provide a pic of the rear? I'm curious how it looks with pipes on just one side :)
