So where are we installing the aftermarket LED fog lights?

no probs!

So now that we cleared the air, could you please repost your pictures and can we discuss your work like adults.
There will always be comments on stuff we submit, that don't go down easily. But one should try to ignore them.
The majority here wants to learn, and any contribution will further the cause.
I like some of the stuff you have done to your car, please tell us more. No joke. :)

The air was always clear from my perspective and what I was saying thanks moinmoin :)
I thought I was posting on the right threat
No I am not being ridiculous and yes some comments don't always go down well or are positive , I was not about that and each to their own
should not be ignored either just own it like adults for what it is even if the intent is not there.
if some want to use it as an excuse it says more about their attitude.

Moving On,

I was installing DYI LED Lights at the same time When someone posted this New LED Product and how to do DYI
here on this Link > Kia Stinger LED Daytime Running Lights
and how to install aftermarket DRLs https://www.stingerforum.org/forum/threads/1936-How-To-install-aftermarket-DRLs

DRL
CAR
BLACK BLACK/ORANGE
WHITE BLACK
RED ORANGE

so I spend great deal of time to do it that way and after fair bit of effort I fount it was not correct .
For One the Fist info was wrong posted by mistake
the Second time Was Correct but still not right for My Car

Finally by playing around I had it going and we need to consider that the Head Light Harness/Assembly might be different and it may Vary from the States to other parts of the world or regions…. maybe some of these KIA Parts are manufactured from other countries, not sure!
I am from Australia and My Stinger GT here is to what is in the States as the GT2 and in Europe /England as GTs I believe.
So I will say to anyone that is going to do DYI on after market products as I have, I brought mine from my local auto shop
and please do some checking and seek some useful information like there is in this Forum!

My Colour Connection is as Bellow for the Aussie GT Stingers
with some pics with the lights on and off, quality not the best of the phone but I do hope it helps others if they like to do their own thing
thanks!

Wow! Really?

My post was not negativity, it was sarcasm.

How did it hurt your feelings for us to joke about how bright your aftermarket LED lights are? Wasn't that the reason you installed them (to get brighter lights on the car?!)

This is like if someone installs big ole turbos on their car, I say to them they're going to be faster than the speed of sound, and they start crying. It's not ridiculous it's ludicrous!

@AV8R instead if hitting the little "x" on my post why don't you sanction Rob or I if we've said or done something that goes against the forum's rules. Otherwise this whole thing is just as ridiculous as I already said.

I’m entitled to tick disagree if I wish , never said anything about you breaking the rules and I’m not sanctioning you either.

Of course you're entitled to do as you please. My point is if you disagree with me that he's overreacting you should point out what we've done wrong instead of just hitting the little X.

Or as a moderator maybe you should moderate the situation and explain to him no one actually did anything wrong. I notice you two have a seemingly decent relationship. He might take it from you better than he has taken it from me.

I’m not taking sides here , if that’s what you think then fine. I will undo the tick if that makes you feel better.

No one is asking you to take sides. I'm asking you to moderate. Sheesh! You actually have "moderator" written under your name.

...nevermind man. Lmao. This has to be a joke.

I have learnt via Sal that it’s best to stay out of things like this and in this case it does not warrant moderation. No rules have been broken, no moderation, you two can sort it out which it looks like you already have.

You all need to let it go and move on. How about no one else makes a comment about it? Thanks for the info Morky.

Bringing this thread back to life because I really want some info. Is it possible to add fog lights to the car, or not?

I'm asking because I took my first ride at night in the pouring rain and the LED head lamps reflected so much light back I couldn't see sh*t. But more disturbing is the ground right in front of the car was basically blacked out. Why do I care? Because in the winter I frequently end up driving to work in pitch black with snow/ice on the road and I need to see what's on the road directly in front of me, and I also drive through a section of valley where there is frequently thick fog. I can't imagine these headlights in fog :/

Is there a way to add fog lights, or at least a different head lamp with more yellow light?

@Morky , nice job. Probably more than I'd do because I'm lazy and that looks like a lot of work, but good on ya.

OK, then where do you put he switch to turn on?

Maybe put a switch near the fuse panel, that panel near/underneath the intrument panel control switch, blind spot collision button, fuel door release button, etc. Or, you could wire it where the fog lights only turn on when the headlights are on, but I'd think you would want the option to turn on/off the foglights as needed.

Yep. I just want and need fog lights... Is there anything available that you all are aware of?

Basically those switch back leds are the closest we're gonna get. I still wish that Kia would have made fog lights an option for those of us that don't have the dynamic light bending thing.

Did you ever figure anything out with the fog lights?
