So many usernames; So many questions...

Mine is a nickname my friends gave me ages ago. It's the first three letters of my last name that people insist on butchering.

Well I'm not going to ask for your last name - but I bet I could pronounce it with no problem. Silly humans... :p

It's "Hejl", go ahead and give me your best guess on pronunciation. I'll give you three tries :)

People compulsively change or insert letters into it. Apparently the spelling just exploits some sort of bug in the human brain and they just can't process it. And sometimes they even like to pronounce the J as a G (???).

My guess would be hejl is pronounced somewhat close to 'hell'?

The silent J is what a lot of people go with.

I'll take a stab at it...
Is it pronounced "Mark" with a silent M?

:p

I have no idea how to pronounce that. I'll stick with "Hedge" :)

OK, now I have to know--but I'll guess--is it pronounced like 'Hale'?

I think you got me, @hej. I was going to say "Hell" or "Hale". Now I'm just going to go with "Hedge". :p

Okay, I know how it's pronounced - but I'm not giving it away. :p

Your second guess is correct.

Is Hejl a Swedish name? - I remember Hej is Hello in Swedish and pronounce very similarly to 'hey'.

I love going to IKEA as you can tell, lol.

@eljay got it right! Wow, that IS a complex name... Silly that your friends call you Hej when they can just call you Hale. :p That's if they don't just use your first name...
