smashed up car this morning, where is MAF sensor?

Negative, 2022 GT1 lost the HK speaker system. Vented seats. 7in Supervisor. Seat memory. Probably some other stuff.
I think you are right. I sort of remember only the GT2 one having the upgraded sound, although mine is totally fine anyway
and I do not have vented seats, just heated.

If the insurance pays the value, in other words "totaled", you can get another Stinger. Maybe start looking now? Or, as you say, repair this one and pocket the difference.

Ima assuming yours is a '22 refresh. The GT has always had the 3.3L and Brembo brakes. It is the GT-Line that has the 2.0L or 2.5L engine and standard brakes. The GT1 still had the Harman Kardon sound system in '22, iirc. Also the LCD gauge cluster.
right, but they'll only pay what it's worth now, which is about 30k. So I'd have to get something way used or add in a bunch more money.
I'd prefer mine because I know I did tons of maintenance like diff and trans that most people don't even do, or if at all they don't do them on schedule. Plus I know I don't beat on mine and trash it which I would have zero knowledge of buying used.
I would definitely consider just taking the payout and then still fixing mine, but I'd also then have to buy back the salvage from the insurance company because they don't just scrap cars like this, they sell them at auction for part out typically. So depending how much they want for the salvage in addition to the 17k to repair it could get hairy. And of course I'd forever have a salvage titled vehicle which means I'd essentially have to drive it until it was worthless because nobody would buy a salvage titled vehicle. But I planned on driving it well into 200k + miles so that part actually isn't a huge turn off for me. For people who replace cars every three years that'd be a dealbreaker.
Bottom line I just have to wait and see what they say, hopefully I'll hear soon.

also, just curious if anybody knows what would happen if I unplugged the TMAP sensor?
would it put the engine into a full out limp mode?

so they totalled my car, gave me $31k for it.
I just found basically the same thing, 22 GT1 AWD.

Hoping somebody can shed light on this question.
So it's exact same trim as mine was, but mine had a staggered wheel set up which I thought was stock on the GT1?
It's 225 front 255 rear.

This one however has 225's all around, but they are the 19" factory wheels identical to mine (other than rear width of course)
Am I wrong about staggered being stock for GT1?

Pre-owned?

PO/seller probably switched a square setup. I'm not aware of any Stinger that come stock with 225 on all 4 19" wheels.

right, I mean I didn't even think it was an option. But the odd thing is they are all factory 2022 wheels. I can't believe somebody would spend the money to get 2 new factory wheels just to go to a square set up?

There were several posts from folks asking about doing just such a thing. Although, it's usually the other way around - asking about whether it's okay to get two rear wheels to put up front, so they can run wider tires.

haha! someone must have swapped with someone else who wanted the same... and didnt' care /wanted the smaller setup to save on tire costs.. lol

crazy
I'm going to put my staggered wheels on this one before the insurance company picks up my car. I'd rather have the 255's in the back.
definitely!
