Slow acceleration w/ no get up and go…

Have you tried re-downloading and applying the FW update?
How about removing the JB4 (if possible). I have JB4, but just with fuel wires, I don't know how invasive the EWG wires are or how easy it is to disconnect that.

Does the JB4 do this in map0 (stock) also? If so, triple check the connections, sounds like the ECU is not getting the right values from the sensors that the JB4 piggy backs on.
So checked all conection good and tight. Sent log to jb4 ther was no boost at all i followed his guidance and downloaded the alpha firmware. While trying to download the new firmware firmware with green bars and perfect signal according to the app in the middle of the download it just stopped and lost signal in then now the JB4 will not connect no matter what tried reloading the app rebooted my my phone and try to connect it. When I downloaded the firmware the Ignition was on and the car was off. So I tried to start my car my car idled at 500 RPM and then died it was it would not stay running. The check engine light is on now Is with a low voltage signal from both boost sensors In map sensor. I've completely disconnected the JB4 from every Sensor and removed it from my car completely Started my car runs perfect still has to check engine light on but runs idle's fine I've driven in a 120 miles no problems built boost no problems. The car is going to the dealership to have the check engine light and sensors checked for faults that Obviously if the sensors come back as not at fault then there is a problem with the JB4 I bought this news 6 months ago and have not had a problem with it until this firmware update.

What is the “waste gate”?
My 2020 Stinger GT has this problem if it's the one you're talking about and the boost gauge does'nt bouge at all when testing on launch the diagnostic vaguely say something about pressure control valve sensor (shorted) don't know what they mean by shorted
i say wastegate selenoïd or if you want pressure control release valve the (right term)i believe. Going to the shop tomorrow (pm) good luck everyone.

It is a valve that opens and dumps excess pressure to prevent engine harm . Pretty much most turbo engines have them , sometimes they can get stuck open causing a no boost situation , or another possible issue is am actual leak somewhere where something isn't tightened down ... It would be helpful if they told you what the actual code was .
My 2020 Stinger has a gauge page in the information pannel
includes (temp--torque and turbo or boost gauge if you want
every gauge move except boost turbo gauge
going in for repair tomorrow (pm).
I assume the wastegate stuck opened.

Reviving this. My Stinger 2.0 has the same issue, it revs up but no power or pickup, actually feels like engine brake if I accelerate. I tried the stop and re-start trick, and it worked. The Problem is that from once a month now, this is an everyday thing. No Check engine has ever shown up.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Question…. Anyone out there in
2020 Kia Stinger GT world experience slow acceleration w/ no get up and go???
i experienced this about 4 weeks ago, check engine light came on… drove to my local Kia dealership. They told me is was a history code issue (???). Made an appointment to get checked out, only to have the check engine light off and no history (since the mechanic cleared the codes)… Now I feel the acceleration is off just a little bit…. Any suggestions!

Well the issue with me it turned out the thermostat was defective and that put the engine on protection mode and reduce power drastically and this thermostat made a fuse in charge of many sensors also blow and that is your problem i believe...by the way my gt is 2020 also and it happened at roughly 65 ks miles ...good luck.. Oh i ran the car for 20ks miles with the thermostat stuck open and cel on before it fried the fuse in charge of it and many other sensors before it reduced the power only then did i look for a fix which was replacing the thermostat and the fuse in charge and only then did my power return and the CEL went off. 10 amp fuse upfront underhood, a $1200.00 fix in canada.

For me, this was caused by the Fuel pump; my car had two pumps replaced in 4 years.

Could be the thermostat blowing a fuse then the system puts it on protection mode, it happen to me and got fixed by changing the thermostat, that was the case on my 2020 gt also.
